Many elderly individuals experience not only changes in appearance and mobility but also vision deterioration. The “GenEye: AI Screen Reader” leverages generative artificial intelligence to automatically analyze image data on web pages, converting it into readable text descriptions. This innovative solution enables visually impaired users and those with age-related vision decline to easily comprehend image content. The project was recognisd by Google as one of the top 100 global finalists in the “GDSC Solution Challenge 2024”.
