CommunityQuest Results Announced
The results of the CommunityQuest, the VTC Community Engagement Reward Scheme for AY2024/25 are finally out! Over the past six months, 16 finalist teams collaborated with community partners to gradually implement proposals aimed at addressing community issues. Their efforts included developing prototypes and organising workshops across various districts.
During the final presentation held on 30 June 2025, the teams showcased their full efforts, demonstrating the community value brought by their proposals to impress the judging panel. Members of judging panel highly praised the students for their innovative thinking, the high level of product completion and the extended impact of the workshops, all of which effectively addressed key community challenges.

The CommunityQuest Award Ceremony will be held in October 2025. Detailed information will be announced in due course. You are warmly invited to join us in celebrating the students who have made valuable contributions to the community through their VPET skills.
[Photo 1] Students from the Engineering Discipline and Childcare, Elderly and Community Services Disciplinepreserved the appearance and community spirit of Choi Hung Estate by using Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology. They also interviewed elderly residents of Choi Hung Estate. The project received high praise from the judging panel and successfully won the Gold Award.
[Photo 2] The Silver Award-winning project, "Dim Sum Battle” Board Game helps elderly train their cognitive functions and social skills by engaging activities involving bill calculations and dim sum knowledge.
[Photo 3] The Most Valuable Extension Award was won by the “Nutritional Cooking Workshop for Elderly" which teaches elderly individuals how to prevent osteoporosis.
