Project Name
Public Health Online Reporting and Rat Detection using AI Systems
Rodent problems have been a concern in recent years, with rats usually appearing in midnight or early morning requiring a lot of manpower and resources to handle. According to the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, the average cost of killing a rat is over HK$4,000.
This system includes an Artificial Intelligence rat detection system to identify the number of rats appearing in a certain period of time. It can generate statistical reports based on the collected data, of which users can then report hygiene blackspots to relevant government departments for follow-up.
