Serve the Community with Skills and Talents — 2023 Mar Issue
Community engagement opportunities are woven into the fabric of our daily lives. This month, V Sparkle (社稿) features our community activity in March, “Care for Local Cleaners Programme” (微塵大意義 - 關懷本地清潔工人計劃), which has been successfully kick-started in partnership with Caritas Hong Kong.
Thank you for the support from the teachers from the DVE (Beauty Care) in Youth College (Kwai Fong), HD in Visual Arts and Culture in IVE(MH), HD in Public Relations and Communication Management in IVE(KT) and the Student Development Discipline for sharing with us the talents of their students in contribution to the community with their VPET knowledge and skills. Part one of the programme, which is a charity film day, was smoothly launched yesterday, with very positive responses from over 80 participants. The programme will be continued with a series of personal care workshops and a life story collection design for local cleaners by our students.
